The reason I picked the Christmas On The Farm Puzzle to review is because it reminds me of my childhood memories. More below... |
First, the era of the red truck is familiar to me on the old farm roads that I grew up with. While travelling those old farm roads, to see an abandoned tractor was very common. Those stick like rickety old fences are another common vision. The Red Barn is a huge familiar building and many got abandoned too. Just the grey coloured sky which seemed to capture a fresh snow fall scene would be quite typical on a day to go get a Christmas tree in the bush beyond our main farmland. And finally but common too, I remember how the long brown-golden dead grass would still rise above the fresh snow as painted around the fences. Lot of memories coming from one image.

Christmas On The Farm Puzzle Assembly.....
I did my usual sorting routine with this one. I sorted the colors as best I could into piles then did an additional color sort as I laid all the pieces out onto the foam board. I cannot locate the photos of those images. The border went together really well.
I started with the red truck, green tree, the red barn, the dogs and then the tractor. It was tricky to determine the shades of grey sky and some of the snow colors but you sure can appreciate the full colors of the completed puzzle.

The following 3 images share some close up images of the puzzle piece quality and sizes which are great! The colours are clear and crisp, especially the red truck with the perfect green tree and the colour of the dogs to offset it.
