This Flower truck puzzle was fun to assemble. I thought the sky, truck and flowers were going to be testy but the green grass was the winner!
These farm scenes are such a pleasure for me as I grew up on country sunshine and details like cows, fences, red barns and even the old truck are familiar to my childhood.
Flowers on farms were a big deal back then too but I am not too sure about that these days. Flower Truck Puzzle Amazon Link

I have switched up from using foam boards for sorting. Since I have established that the Grateful House jigsaw puzzling trays can hold a 1000 piece puzzle laid out, (using the lid for the border pieces) I find it convenient to layout my sorting process as shown in the images. I set up the 8 trays plus the lid and the box of puzzle pieces in the centre to sort according to colours or details. I do the border on my foam board working area first so I can put the lid on the trays for movement. On the upper right side you can see the poster which is a very nice size and you can see the image under the Company logo on the front of the box. |
Even though the border portrait, the image is really landscape. I took the photo that way on purpose. There's a lot of blue/white across the top and brown on the bottom - gotta 'feel fit' them.
I started with the cloudy sky, thinking I would get the worst out of the way...turns out there was enough shades to determine where the pieces went and the shapes helped too. I took on the fence next and that was determined by the width between the fence planks. The red barn went quick as did the dogs.
I knew I was leaving the truck for last but you can see the stray green pieces in image below as they became the tricky pieces. Ideally there was enough details with the windows and tires to assist with the 'truck' section.
The final image below leaves only the truck left to assemble.
Here are some of the most visible close up images featured in the puzzle that show the shapes of the jigsaw puzzle pieces and some of the details you might not ordinarily see.
I really enjoy assembling the Greg Giordano artwork that Cobble Hills Puzzle Company sells. His artwork is true to reality with so much detail. I have done several of them in the past. One of my very first ones that I assembled was Christmas on the Farm which I still have in my collection today.
The Flower Truck puzzle is a delightful Summer image to assemble.
