I do love this Halloween House jigsaw puzzle image but unbeknownst to me, it was camouflaged under a pretence delivery address in Canada as it actually arrived with China text on the packaging during the COVID19 puzzle boom. :( Therefore, the quality was very low with quite thin pieces that were cut loose....so sad...

![]() The box, not so good! As you can see it appears damaged too. This puzzle had a shipping address from Ontario Canada...sadly is appears to come from China and is a cheap knock-off of the popular image by Steve Read known as Halloween House. |
I did not do my usual sorting routine with this one. In fact, I was so disappointed about the condition of this puzzle that I contemplated on not even assembling it. I could see from the cut of the pieces that it would be VERY challenging to put together as one piece would likely fit into 100 different places. Then I seen the poster has the letters on the back and decided that this puzzle would best be assembled using the 'letter' pattern and be completed by the 6th's sections of A, B, C, D, E, and F. That made me decide I would just get it done and it actually added a bit of fun to the 'dire' situation.

That said, you can see below how easily the flat thin pieces easily stacked upon one another and beside that image you can see the laid out pieces that are basically glossy card-stock thickness. I had to handle them very carefully.

Below you can see 2 sections of the 6th's sections of letters that are on the back of the puzzle.

The following 3 images share some closeup images and even though they look half decent there, looking at the overall image it tends to a lower grade of digital print. It makes it somewhat acceptable for a farther away view but not for closeup assembly.

Of course I am not going recommend this puzzle as I am not even sure where it comes from. I am disappointed that I was duped by the Ontario Canada address as I actually thought it was being sold by a private seller on community market platform. Goes to show how extremely careful we have to be and stay with the well known Companies....however I have hear even those companies are experiencing 'knock-off' situations too...my word? Online shopping is headed in a bad direction :( That said, I have to admit the only fun part of this puzzle was assembling it by using the letter codes on the back and I did it in speedy time too!
