I did my usual sorting routine.

  1. Sorting to locate all  the outside border pieces, while....
  2. Placing the pieces into the 'general-color' piles.
  3. Then I carried on with a second round of sorting (similar colors sorted by shades/patterns) while placing the pieces flat out on the poster boards.

The above image shows about 120 pieces that are not 'candy' pieces. So I started with those which sets up the Blue M & M Character. It consists of the head/body -arms, legs and shoes.

That leaves over 430 pieces of M & M puzzle pieces showing candy.

I still do not think the border is correct but I craved the M&M candies so much - I went and bought some! They are my most favorite candy and I have had more than my share. Note the letters -  M + M in orange and blue.

I tried everything possible for this one - even backwards....nope did not help.

This M and M jigsaw puzzle is for puzzlers who have loads of patience and time. Originally it sold for $10.00 at date of production. It states ages 10 to adult however I fail to see a 10 year old sitting around long enough to assemble it.

I quit this puzzle before it was finished. I placed the assembled pieces into the box, be caring to lie the section upon each other. I am not giving up on this puzzle - I love it too much to do that. I will keep in a 'holding-pattern' pile for the days when I have nothing but leisure time as it will require testing over 400 pieces into several areas.

But I REALLY wished I could have completed it. I have never seen one of these completed either. The first time I ever seen this puzzle was when Hubby brought if home from the Thrift store for $1.00. Now it goes back into my TO DO List.

The above jigsaw puzzle(s) have been added to my Puzzle Hobby Tracker

I am in the process of recording all my past jigsaw puzzles that I still have for my walls and all my current puzzles.
