The colors in this Fruits and Flutterbies puzzle are so pretty. There is a terrific background pastel shade against the rest of the details making it most outstanding.
The sprinkle of reds and yellow add a very nice touch to the image and help with the assembly process. Flutterbies is the plural for flutterby which is childish language for a butterfly. Fruits and Flutterbies puzzle Amazon link

The border went together quite easily on the Fruits and Flutterbies puzzle. This cut has the extra trick of 6 corner edges but 2 pieces 'butt' up to each other. I started with the strawberries first thing and then worked some of the butterflies.
Once I established their positions I worked all the fruits and flowers which left only the green leaves combined with the blue background and there was a LOT as seen below. It took me just as long to complete the green/blue as it did to assemble the rest of the puzzle - it was a workout indeed which was the fun part ;)
Seeing the close up section below shares the beautiful details of the image and the random cut pieces against the pale blue background. The Fruits and Flutterbies puzzle sure is one pretty image!
The Cobble Hills Puzzle Company has a several Barbara Behr puzzles including the Pink Flowers and Blue Flowers both of which I have had the pleasure of assembling. And just so you know, the Blue Flowers puzzle actually appears to be have all purple flowers so I can only 'assume' that in the 'flower' world, they are classified as blue flowers.
Also, some of you may know that floor renovations delayed puzzling for a week or so. The Fruit and Flutterbies puzzle was the first jigsaw puzzle on board after that and it sure was great to get back at it :) !!!!!
