Lazy Day Jigsaw Puzzle Assembly

I did my usual sorting routine.

  1. Sorting to locate all  the outside border pieces, while....
  2. Placing the pieces into the 'general-color' layout onto the Grateful House puzzle trays. These trays are 14" x 10" in a pack of 8. I can layout all the pieces easily IF I use the lid for the edge pieces. This example is using the Cobble Hill Brand puzzle at 1000 pieces and puzzle Size is 26.625" x 19.25".

The border was fairly easy to match up with the image on the box.

The reds were the first color to eliminate which assembled the car, barn and bridge. The windows on the house were distinctive so it was next. That was followed by the people and the little pond which left the greenery and sky for last.

Lazy Day Jigsaw Puzzle Comments

The smooth finish is nice on these puzzles. The image below share close ups of the cut quality. The pieces are the 'easy grasp' size making this one perfect for Seniors. The cut was a tad loose but not not enough to be frustrating.

The Sunsout Lazy Days jigsaw puzzle is 18" x 24", 300 extra large pieces. The top cover of the box is solid but the bottom portion is made of thinner cardboard which is typical of this brand. That said, the bottom box tends to damage easier. The extra large pieces are good and solid making it easier for usage by Seniors however there was one drawback with the image where some of the areas of the picture seemed muted. The image above with the dog shared the best example as the other images are digitally enhanced by the camera.
