As you can see this puzzle comes colour-coded on the back. There was no need to lay out the pieces once they were sorted according to the colour piles. I have done other mini puzzles that do not have the colour codes on the back |

After the initial sort was completed I took each section and built the desserts according to size, starting with the smallest of piles and working my way up to the largest piles.
The puzzle pieces are quite random cut - some have very small pieces that could easily get lost so I was very mindful of that.
The following 12 images gives a little bit closer look at each of the desserts which are most colourful and look delicious! The images must be a photo as they do not look painted or photoshopped. The board is also glossy so that's something to consider.
These little mini puzzles are terrific for travelling, taking to the camper for rainy days and / or hospital situations as they do not require much space to assemble.

I purchased this Mini Desserts puzzle from Bit and Pieces as it was not available at Amazon at that time. The CraZart brand name is by Lafayette Puzzle Factory. The brand is not the best quality but the puzzles are super fun!
I purposely bought this puzzle because I want to send it to my 85 year old Mother who enjoys these delightful types of puzzles and with the color codes on the back it provides extra help for her enjoyment.
I also had the pleasure of doing the Kittens by the Dozen but it was not colour coded on the back. They sure do look super adorable though.
