Puzzle Hobby Collection - Part 3 of 3

Looks great, right???!!! What fireplace? I don't see a fireplace!

This is Part 3 of a 3 Part series, where the Puzzle Hobby Collection is removed, replaced and re-stacked after many new additions have been accumulated over the last 2.5 years. Lots of photos and videos are shared here.

TaDA!!!! Done like dinner right?! And don't it look GREAT!!!! .....mainly because we can see every single one of them - that's amazing that we could pull that off. It looks easy now that they are all replaced and stacked but it really wasn't easy.

First we put the 2 side shelves on the left and right side. Then it was decided that we would start the puzzles from large to small. The bigger puzzles would go on the black shelves keeping the brands together as much as was doable. Some brands have more than one size of boxes, like Eurographics for instance. But somehow, somewhere, something was going to have to be slightly off - it couldn't be 110% perfect.

We then hauled all the puzzles from their various temporary storage spots. This way it made it easier to see how many brand of each there were and the sizes of the boxes. We moved brands from sections to sections and back again etc until we found a good fit for most of the larger boxes.

Panoramas are kept together on the top left shelf and 'party-packs' (multiple 10 in 1 box) puzzles are kept on the top right shelf.

Once the 2 side shelves were somewhat filled, we started to fill in the center table again trying to keep within the brands, sizes and era.  We managed to get 9 stacks in the middle to back shelf. That way, looking from the left side or right side we can see every single puzzle.

Of course we did not want to bury the view of those puzzles in the back yet the Fireplace pipe looked out of place, so we made stack #10 right in front of the pipe which covers it up VERY nicely.

We've added some of our 'founded' vintage decor that we have collected. The trucks are Hubby's cool find and the Cabbage Patch dolls (authentic originals) are mine. We have also dressed the area with other jigsaw puzzle goodies that puzzlers have been kind enough to gift me as well as some of the puzzle tools that are required on occasion.

All that said and done, these puzzles have not been assembled yet. There is a duplicate Dowdle, duplicate Wysocki and a duplicate Classic Treasures. There is about 100 completed jigsaw puzzles stored in a different area.

Remember the Puzzle Hobby Collection "Before....." Video? Well here's the new organization videos....

AND now we will tell you just how many jigsaw puzzles are organized there and how long it took to do it! There are 293 puzzles + the vintage wooden puzzle pieces which are not determined to a particular puzzle as yet. It took us over 5 hours to replace the puzzles due to the fact that I insisted to have a visual of each one. I am one VERY happy Puzzler now because that is my view everyday!!!!

Oh oh......these have arrived after the job was done.......now what???......

My wish list......

It isn't like we need any new puzzles but we are keeping our eyes wide open for the following ones which are at the top of our wish list ;)
