My Confident Puzzler Difficulty Rating: Easy to Medium

Yes, this required some concentration, but it flowed fairly quickly. This was one I wish had been 1000 pieces! Definitely more challenging, but a higher degree of accomplishment for certain. I did have a great deal of fun, and that is an important mainstay of puzzling.

Quality!: Perfect! The full illustration is on the box top; inside was a sealed bag of pieces and a poster. Both images were a perfect match to the pieces. There was no puzzle dust. The finished puzzle had pick up off the table piece fit. The pieces had a bit of sheen. There were no damaged pieces, none were together uncut, and none were missing. That quality is always fun!

Getting started: Find the edge pieces and sort b color. I sorted the seven colors, separating lights from darks. With only 500 pieces, even the sorting was fun!

Construction: I built the frame first. All the pieces were the same 2 in / 2 out shape. The big construction clue is the pieces alternate from horizontal to vertical. I bothered to line up the sorts from light to dark. I pieced this together by color then shape. The order I filled in the colors was pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red. Did I mention FUN?!

Final thoughts: I’m sorry, the is the shortest review I have ever written! It’s difficult to critique perfect! I have done 15 Galison puzzles, not a one turned me off the brand. To the contrary, only 2 of them had less than stellar quality. Obviously I would recommend BUTTONS!

My grades: Quality A++, Fun Factor A++
