I was lucky to locate these 2 over the course of a year at my local Thrift Store and each one was $2.00. However you can type Pressman Downton Abbey into Google search and you will find many at Amazon and/or eBay. A bit pricey though....

The Pressman jigsaw puzzles are produced in China but the pieces are of medium quality.

The castle became a hub of social gatherings, hosting lavish parties, and welcoming dignitaries from around the world.

The Tutankhamun Connection: Highclere Castle gained further prominence in the early 20th century when the 5th Earl of Carnarvon, George Herbert, funded the famous archaeological expedition in Egypt alongside Howard Carter. The historic excavation led to the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922, an event that captivated the world's imagination and brought Highclere Castle into the limelight once again.

The Downton Abbey Legacy: In recent times, Highclere Castle became internationally renowned as the fictional estate of the Crawley family in the acclaimed television series "Downton Abbey." The show, which aired from 2010 to 2015, showcased the majestic beauty of the castle and immersed viewers in the captivating drama of the aristocratic Crawley family and their devoted staff. The success of "Downton Abbey" further solidified Highclere Castle's place in popular culture, drawing thousands of visitors from around the globe to experience the charm and grandeur of the real-life setting.

Preserving History and Welcoming Visitors: Today, Highclere Castle remains the ancestral home of the Carnarvon family, who continue to reside within its walls. The castle has also embraced its role as a beloved tourist attraction, opening its doors to the public during specific times of the year. Visitors can explore the splendid rooms, meander through the enchanting gardens, and immerse themselves in the rich history that permeates every corner of the estate.
