This Hennessy world map puzzle image is very clean and reminds me of the maps back in the school days. It is actually much brighter on your table.  Even though there is a lot of blue water, the black text was helpful with the assembly.

Hennessy world map puzzle assembly

This Hennessy world map puzzle came with a poster of the map and a little extra. You can email in for a 'Memory Magnet" which is kinda cool - haven't seen any other companies doing that!

I did my usual sorting routine.

  1. Sorting to locate all  the outside border pieces, while....
  2. Placing the pieces into the 'general-color' piles. 
  3. Then I carried on with a second round of sorting (similar colors sorted by shades/patterns) while placing the pieces flat out on the poster boards.

The border is pretty much all blue so going by shapes and shades of blue was the strategy used there. It was not difficult.

Then the rest of the Hennessy world map puzzle assembly order went like this;

  • Large chunks of solid colors first
  • Smaller chunks of colors 
  • Larger text
  • Smaller text
  • Solid large blue lines
  • Dotted lines
  • Thin lines
  • Solid blues and DONE!!!!

Hennessy world map puzzle Comments

Hennessy jigsaw puzzles are just as good quality as any of the other major brands. I am really impressed with the images the Company produces and I have heard in our Facebook Groups that the Customer Service is great.   This being a map with lots of blue might be testy however using my strategy I did not experience any frustrations - actually this puzzle assembled quicker than I thought it might. I found the shape of the cuts to be enjoyable as they were not too extreme.  I highly recommend this puzzle.

I have had the pleasure to assemble a 3 other Hennessy puzzles. The Hennessy Retro Space Jigsaw Puzzle, the Hennessy Mid Century Modern Jigsaw Puzzle and a real favourite  among the puzzlers is the Tiki Time Jigsaw Puzzle.
