My Confident Puzzler Difficulty Rating: Effortless enjoyment

Way fewer calories, way more fun! 100 pieces of childhood memories in a very small box. Does Kellogg’s even produce this cereal any more? This is one of 6 varieties packaged together. There’s the familiar Toucan, Tony, and Snap, Crackle and Pop.

Corn Pops and Apple Jacks round out the selection. Aww, come on, you loved at least one of those as a kid.

Quality - pretty good. Piece fit is is a little loose, but not terrible. The fairly sturdy box opens from a top flap. There was a bit of puzzle dust. The almost full illustration is on the front of the box. A smaller, full version is on the back .Inside was a sealed bag of pieces. Color match to the puzzle was very good. The sturdy pieces are rather shiny. Because they are more than average size, the 100 pieces make a pretty big statement when completed. No pieces were damaged, stuck together uncut, or missing.

Getting started: Find the edge pieces and sort by color. Sorting by color is pretty much sorting by object for this image. More than a third of the puzzle are edge pieces, so . . .

Construction: . . . putting the frame together first provides a wealth of color information to complete this fun filled picture. That’s how I went about it. If I had to pick anything tricky, it would be the words Honey Smacks, but really it wasn’t hard at all.

Final thoughts: Low piece count puzzles are just the thing when you want a puzzle fix in a short amount of time. I particularly liked that each box was packaged with its matching pieces. (Not true for some other brands with similar sets.) The pieces are larger than average, easy to handle, and super for young kids or anyone with dexterity issues. So colorful, so cute, with a little nostalgia built into the mix. To quote Tony, “They’rrrre Great!”

My Grades: Quality A-, Fun Factor: A++
