My Confident Puzzler Difficulty Rating: delightfully easy 

I often go to bed with a book. But sometimes I put a small foam core board on my lap and do one of these! Ah, the puzzling process - it clears your mind and brings on calm.

Quality: Almost perfect. The piece fit is loose; not a big deal for 100 pieces. Otherwise, the quality is fine. The little box is sturdy. The full illustration is on the box top. Color match to pieces is great. Inside is a sealed bag of pieces. No puzzle dust. The solid, matte finish pieces are a bit larger than the brand’s larger piece count puzzles. None were damaged or together uncut, none were missing.

Getting started: Find the edge pieces and sort by color. Well, not an arduous task with 100 pieces, so I sorted out miami, the sun, the sunshine, the light blue water, the dark blue water, the buildings and the sunglasses’ parts.

Construction: I built the frame, pieced together miami and the sunglasses, and pretty much filled in the rest. All fun, all relaxing, all done!

Final thoughts: 100 pieces — why not? It’s still puzzling, just a simpler part. There is another plus to this brand’s varied selection of Mini puzzles. Mini puzzle can mean something very different from those. They can have tiny pieces and small finished measurements. These, like the one above, have a presence when complete. They range from colorful, to artful, to humorous, to geographical. Cars, sports, landmarks, famous cities, birds, dinosaurs, Harry Potter and more - imagine all the little gifting opportunities! Yes, there are ready made 9” x 7” frames. Why not display these little put together pieces of fun? (Because of the loose fit, it is necessary to tape the puzzle back, 2” painters tape work well.)

My grades: Quality A-, Fun Factor A++
