I did my usual sorting routine.

  1. Sorting to locate all  the outside border pieces, while....
  2. Placing the pieces into the 'general-color' layout onto the Grateful House puzzle trays. These trays are 14" x 10" in a pack of 8. I can layout all the pieces easily IF I use the lid for the edge pieces. This example is using the Cobble Hill Brand puzzle at 1000 pieces and puzzle Size is 26.625" x 19.25".

Board ALERT! Watch your board size on this one. It is 24" x 30" (60.96 x 76.2 cm). A good portion of 1000 pieces may measure within the 20" x 30" foam boards - not this one. I needed to get a bigger board. Luckily I DO have a few different sizes.

To start with, I assessed the colors on the box and determined that my approach would be to assemble this one similar to assembling a collage jigsaw puzzle image. I let the color piles determine themselves as I sorted the border pieces aside. 

But speaking of border pieces, Springbok uses the random cut style which increases the 'could-be-a-border-piece' trick. That's ok, cause this time I was too pumped to start and did not even do the border first!

I have to say this jigsaw puzzle went fairly quick, about 10 hours but I was addicted to it....I was assembling it in the evenings and I found it very difficult to pull myself away to go to bed. I was just having too much fun with it....the pieces flowed into place  ;) 

Terrific, tremendous and totally top of the line! Oh - and addictive! No need to mention quality because we all know and appreciate the continued level that Springbok has produced since 1963. But in case you didn't, see for yourself in the following images.

Comments on the Springbok coke jigsaw puzzle

First of all I was impressed that Springbok found me and asked me to choose a puzzle that I would like to do a review on. That was a difficult decision (typical for any Puzzler who is given such a splendid offer) and I have always been like a magnet to any Springbok Coke jigsaw puzzle. The vintage look was a huge attraction for me as it is another image favorite of mine. Those were the 2 reasons I chose the Decades of Tradition jigsaw puzzle.

Inside the box includes the Warranty card and the bag is sealed in plastic which us Puzzlers appreciate.

VERY little puzzle dust too (I must add).

Well IF I was rating on a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being the highest - I would be giving the Springbok Coke jigsaw puzzle a 10......if you prefer quality, like random cut pieces and drink Coke, then this one is definitely for you!  

By the time I finished assembling this one I certainly was craving the taste of drinking a Coke! I guess things just go better with Coke including jigsaw puzzles :)
