Sweet Valentine Puzzle Assembly

I did my usual sorting routine.

  1. Sorting to locate all  the outside border pieces, while....
  2. Placing the pieces into the 'general-color' piles.
  3. Then I carried on with a second round of sorting (similar colors sorted by shades/patterns) while placing the pieces flat out on the poster boards.

I received this Sweet Valentine jigsaw puzzle on February 12th. With Valentine's Day being on the 14th I REALLY wanted to post it out then. That meant I would need to scramble to get it done among the time I have during ALL my other daily duties.

Luckily I had assembled Sweet Christmas a few months before so I was still in the ribbon-grid groove being familiar with this puzzle type image therefore I manage to get this one assembled in 10 hours which is great timing for me!

That said, since I was in such a hurry I totally forgot to take photos of the colored piles of sorted pieces which is what I normally do - this time I remembered after I laid out all the pieces but not the pile of border pieces! LOL!!!

For the border, I laid out the ribbon-grid like cut pieces according to the 2 different shapes, then following the image on the box I placed the piece into the approximage area of the border. Near the end, it is a matter of checking several pieces into the respective spots over and over until it all fits correctly.

I started with all the large pink text and pink border decor at the top and bottom. After that it was a matter of picking a delicious treat and locating the colors that matched up. There was not a lot of white space between the treats so that was not even an issue. As you can see in the progress images below, how all the delicious treats took form leaving a small amount of whites and shades of pink and whites at the end.

Sweet Valentines Puzzle Comments...

The following images share the great quality of this super fun Eurographics jigsaw puzzle. It is really nice to see these images in the larger size so you get a better view. You cannot really see the small details just looking at the finished picture and the pink text is tricky to see. It sure looks terrific on the table and good enough to eat!!!!

The Sweet Valentines puzzle is a perfect puzzle experience....it looks super delicious and perfect for a seasonal image which comes highly recommended.

This colorful Series comes with Recipes on the back as shown on the right. I have done the Sweet Christmas in the past and would love to do the Wedding Cakes in the future!
