Butterfly Jigsaw Puzzle

Now IF pretty and colour is what you are looking for then here it is. And nothing but pure pleasure. At first I thought this was going to be quite challenging but it went surprisingly well. Here's some details I noted;

  • Very sturdy box (I like that - it protect the pieces)
  • The pieces are quality board made with 100% recycled paperboard and with 90% post-consumer content
  • Has a poster to follow
  • There is slight gleam on the pieces 
  • The pattern is consistent with no really odd shaped cuts but still slightly unique
  • It was a medium challenge for 14+ years

You can see how I tried to determine piles of main colours then laid them out onto the poster boards and I would work each butterfly and pick up on the colours that were underneath the big butterflies.

I took some real close up photos to show off the brilliant colours. I have already (wide packing) taped the back and now I will wait for the perfect frame to 'surface' from somewhere....in the meantime I have the pleasure of looking at it anytime I want....yes this is a keeper for numerous reasons.

This Butterfly jigsaw puzzle has been on my wish list for many years and poof! Look - I own it now!

Special thanks goes to Edna, my PuzzleMomma in the Jigsaw Puzzle Connections  Facebook Group  She was kind enough to send it to me all the way from California.

But what is most appealing to me was the fact that she had already completed it within months ago. Let me tell you....I couldn't help keep thinking......"I am doing this puzzle - this is the same one Edna has completed"....I even went so far as to think...."she touched all these pieces and now I am"....I know that sounds kinda silly but when you think about it, how often can you say that about a puzzle?

That's how I get when I receive puzzles from Group Puzzle members who send me their puzzles - it's different when doing a brand new puzzle or a Thrift store puzzle. I also get to wondering similar thoughts when doing a vintage puzzle....I think...."how many hands have worked this puzzle and what was their life like?"...... again, silly I know but make it interesting for me!
