Fender Guitar Puzzle

The Fender Guitar puzzle is almost life-like in size. It has a few whimsies that are musical related. The colour on the image is fantastic. It's amazing how the company managed to cut the frets and the pieces are still in tact. There were some pretty strange cuts along the edges and some are dangerously small for getting lost (as you can see one has escaped).

 Fender Guitar Puzzle Assembly

I don't usually do too much of a sort on a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle and with so few colors in this one it wasn't much work at all.

Instead, the sorting was resorted to a basic layout onto the foam boards.

Of course a solid black border in shaped pieces is always a little tricky but I did manage to establish most of it as you can see on the left image. It will be established that one edge piece is missing.

The Heal, neck, fretboard, nut, machine heads and head stock on the Fender Guitar puzzle were the easiest parts to assemble. I just blew through them. The bottom half consisted of a few shaped pieces such as music notes, guitar pics and 2 'F's' for the Fender. These added to the complexity of assembling the light colours, bridge and bridge saddle.

Once getting all the light cream colours completed, then the distinguished browns, the blacks that blended into the dark maroon colours were the trickiest of all areas.

Fender Guitar Puzzle Comments

The following images of the Fender Guitar Puzzle  share some nice close up details of the text on the Head Stock along with the music notes, guitar pics and the 2 'F's'. You can see on the first image how the pieces were cut to maintain the structure of the frets. Good idea to help keep them from getting lost.

I highly recommend trying any of the Paperhouse as this is the second one I have been fortunate enough to find and assemble. I did the Flip Flops Paper House jigsaw puzzle back in 2016.

About: The Legendary Fender Guitar:

A Musical Icon that Shaped Rock 'n' Roll History

When it comes to iconic musical instruments, few can match the timeless appeal and influential power of the Fender guitar. From its humble beginnings in the 1940s to becoming a staple in the world of rock 'n' roll, the Fender guitar has left an indelible mark on the music industry and continues to captivate musicians and enthusiasts to this day.

Leo Fender, the visionary behind the Fender guitar, revolutionized the world of electric guitars by introducing designs that were not only aesthetically pleasing but also boasted exceptional sound quality. In 1950, Fender launched its first commercial guitar, the Telecaster (originally known as the Broadcaster). With its solid body and unique pickup configuration, the Telecaster set the stage for the electric guitar's dominance in popular music.

In the following years, Fender introduced another groundbreaking model: the Stratocaster. Released in 1954, the Stratocaster featured a sleek double-cutaway body design, three pickups, and a vibrato bridge system. Its versatility and distinctive sound quickly captured the hearts of guitarists across genres, from blues to rock 'n' roll.

The Fender Stratocaster gained massive popularity during the 1960s and '70s, thanks in part to its association with legendary musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. These guitar virtuosos showcased the Stratocaster's remarkable capabilities, pushing the boundaries of guitar playing and cementing its status as an icon of rock music.

Fender didn't stop there. In the early 1960s, they introduced the Jazzmaster and Jaguar models, catering to the needs of jazz and surf music players, respectively. These guitars featured unique features like floating vibrato systems and intricate switching options, expanding the sonic possibilities for musicians and further establishing Fender as a leader in guitar innovation.

The 1970s witnessed the rise of another Fender gem—the Precision Bass. This groundbreaking instrument introduced the world to the concept of the electric bass guitar, forever changing the landscape of popular music. The Precision Bass provided a solid foundation for bands and orchestras, replacing the bulky and less portable double bass with a more manageable and sonically versatile instrument.

Over the years, Fender has continued to innovate and evolve, introducing new models and improving existing ones. They have expanded their product line to include amplifiers, effects pedals, and other guitar-related accessories, solidifying their reputation as a comprehensive provider for musicians.

Today, the Fender guitar remains a symbol of craftsmanship, quality, and artistic expression. Its distinctive tones, ergonomic designs, and rich heritage continue to inspire countless musicians worldwide. Whether it's the gritty blues licks on a Stratocaster or the thundering bass lines on a Precision Bass, the Fender guitar has become an integral part of the musical lexicon.

As we reflect on the history of the Fender guitar, it's clear that Leo Fender's relentless pursuit of innovation and his commitment to quality laid the foundation for a musical revolution. From the stages of small clubs to the world's biggest arenas, the Fender guitar has played an essential role in shaping the sound and feel of popular music, making it an eternal legend in the annals of rock 'n' roll history.
