So I did not even see the 2 extras on the box when Hubby brought this one home from the Thrift store but I knew immediately I wanted to do it up right away. It would be a real quick fix compared to the last 2 very large jigsaw puzzles I started off the New Year with.

This was not only a basement bargain price of $1.00, it also has the 100 piece bonus puzzle AND recipes on that back of the box. IF I was a baker (that’s a big IF – I try not to spend any time in the kitchen…heehee) I might attempt to recreate some of these pretty Cake Pops.

However, I take great pleasure in just doing the jigsaw puzzle. Then I moved onto the bigger puzzle. I did manage to sort to colors to ‘some’ degree and made a pile for the pieces that have just text writing on them. I totally whipped up the border too. But I would say it took about 8 hours total to complete.

I did my usual sorting routine. Sorting to locate all  the outside border pieces, while.... Placing the pieces into the 'general-color' piles.  Then I carried on with a second round of sorting (similar colors sorted by shades/patterns) while placing the pieces flat out on the poster boards.

Once again, comparing this one to the last 2 very large, gruelling puzzles I have assembled, it surely was delightful to find places for pieces within seconds…perhaps too quickly sometimes.

Now that it is complete you can see the great quality it is – l really like to see the puzzle pieces being so smooth across the board. This one had all the makings of a great jigsaw puzzle. It did go a little quicker than most but it was the type that you just wanted to keep going because you were finding soooo many pieces very quickly….a little addicting I’d say…..
