My (advancing) Newbie Difficulty Rating: moderate to easy

“Moderate to easy?” you ask. Well, it is 1000 pieces, and parts of it were challenging. For me, the multiple green rows and the pale to near white pieces on the left side took a bit of time. But, I started it late yesterday and finished it today — inordinately fast for me!

And fun! Sorting by color is the key here. I built the frame first —There was enough color info to complete it, and half the pink row was done — only 13 1⁄2 rows to go! When you sort you will see that many of the pieces are distinctly 2 colors that follow the colors as they appear. (example half green, half blue). It’s a great help in construction.

Quality and a curiosity: Excellent! The sturdy box includes a sealed bag of pieces, a full sized poster, and a note with an invitation to chat with the company. Just a tad of puzzle dust, pieces have a totally matte finish. None were still together uncut, none were damaged, and none were missing. Most of the pieces were the 2 in / 2 out variety. Piece fit was great! Pieced together sections did not fall apart when moved. Better yet, I picked the whole puzzle up off my table and it stayed totally together.

Here’s the curious part — if you have a piece you think will fit, and it is the right piece, not joking — it literally will fall into place. If you have to coax it in place in any way, it’s the wrong piece. Worse still, removing it can be difficult. So, trust the puzzle. I suppose I could get negative about it; pieces did look like they fit where they did not belong. In this type of puzzle you could be undoing a lot by the time you notice it.

Final thoughts: This was a very enjoyable and satisfying puzzle to build. At most it can be a little tricky, but not frustrating. I highly recommend it! Enjoy!
