I could tell right of the hop that this busy image was going to test me. There's like a b-zillion tiny details going on here with the main crossroads and a few medium size patches of building roofs. The quality Cloudberries has is top of the line! |

I did my usual sorting routine.
| |
I took my time with the 2nd round of sorting making sure I placed the colors in groups as much as possible as I knew that would be beneficial for the assembly process.
I started with the main crossroad thinking it should move along quick enough....no such luck there. It was a sign of what the rest of the puzzle process would be. Turns out I reworked the main road at least 3 times until the pieces and image fit correctly.
Then I continued to work some medium size patches and continuously built around them. The rest of the process was just that, building many small areas and placing them strategically into the general area of the image until patches grew larger and larger.
The following are some of the close up images displaying the quality cut of the pieces and the style of the ribbon/grid type cut. I am really impressed with the 'soft-click' connections, the perfect tightness in the cutting. I have also taken a few really close up photos sharing details you would not see easily on the box image.
This image is for the puzzlers who enjoy these busy type puzzles as it provides a good challenge....I would not recommend this one for a novice puzzler as it took me almost twice as long as my usual time for a standard 1000 piece puzzle. The completed photo does not do the justice as seen on the puzzle table as it's difficult to see that when the photo must is taken from far above the image and the image a very detailed.
Turns out, Cloudberries send one of their most easiest puzzles (Pixels) and then one of their most trickiest puzzle (Crossroads).
The Cloudberries Jigsaw Puzzle Company is located in the UK. It's a family run small business making its mark in the jigsaw puzzle market. This Company has the same quality, cut and images as the well known companies and ranks right up there for a perfect puzzle experience. I highly recommend you try a Cloudberries puzzle as soon as you get the opportunity.
I was even delighted to see their cute little extra postcard in the box, in a poem format to invite you to contact them - every little bit of extras counts and that really personalizes it. The connections I have had with them has been very responsive and quite friendly too! They even have a gift card option and their puzzle can be purchased on Amazon.com. I am told they will become available on Amazon.ca and other Canadian location soon too!
