The Pottery Jars puzzle is filled with colour, colours and more coloured patterns. First of all, these are very beautiful pottery jars and I cannot even imagine painting such detailed jars. |
Take a close look at the intricate designs on these very creative ornaments. Secondly, how does one go about deciding what strategy to use on this puzzle....Luckily it is only five hundred pieces for starters and 18" x 24" was a nice size. So I decided to pick away at this one in small increments. I assembled many small clusters of similar colours. Some of the rims were a tad outstanding. Then the most outstanding patterns were next. From there it was a continuous build on each of the Pottery Jars.

The border went together fairly easy and I could almost tell at this point that this puzzle was going to be somewhat easy. Having all the pieces sorted out onto the board with the colors in the general areas, I picked out the big Pottery jars with some solid colors to build off from there. |

And that was pretty much how it went - I continued to attach the patterns as they spilled over to the other patterns on the other jars. I could match up patterns to patterns. And now you can see the nice closeup images below.
Now you can see the cut and quality of the pieces. The board is medium thickness and the cut was better than the last Reviewed Puzzle I did. What was great about this puzzle was the image of course. It was clean and crisp, creative and colorful. Just assembling the puzzle pieces into their positions was fast and easy and very enjoyable - almost addicting. That said, the Pottery Jars Puzzle by Cardinal Puzzles was a delightful experience. I have also had the pleasure of assembling the Harbour Sunset jigsaw puzzle by Cardinal Puzzles. |
