Advent Calendar Puzzle
Advent Calendar Puzzles are a terrific way to bring on the Christmas cheer. Each day a Puzzler can get a cute, quick puzzle fix starting at December 1st on some of these Calendars.
Last year we did the following Calendar and this year we have a new one.

My very own Advent Calendar Puzzle! I have wanted one of these for the past couple of years. What fun it will be to put together a little mini Christmas puzzle every day! I was super stoked when my daughter brought me this about 2 weeks ago and I insisted on waiting until December 1st before opening it.
Now I will be able to assemble one every day to build a really delightful Christmas puzzle. It's going to be so fun to watch this one come together. And it's all going to be on this one page.
Advent Calendar Puzzle Day 24 - Santa Stars

Turns out the Santa Stars were a little on the tricky side with those 'beady' little eyes. Santa for sure will love them especially the cherries on top for the nose - great idea!

This one was another super quick one dealing with blue, green and white. It looks super sweet and I expect that could be some kind of Christmas cupcake, maybe cinnamon flavour.

Now this image catches the essence of Christmas colours, the calming flavour of ginger cookies and the warmth of a chocolate cocoa drink topped with sweet melting marshmallows after a cold outdoor family activity like skating, Christmas caroling or sleigh riding. Yummy!

Now I am really starting to crave a tasty Gingerbread cookie and I certainly would allow these cute ornaments to hang on my Christmas tree although I do not know how long they would last there. These make up the perfect Gingerbread family at Christmas. SO cute!

This Santa is a delightful little cookie that Santa would really enjoy. I remember making these Christmas sugar cookies that we also decorated too. Certainly not to this level. And our cookie cutters did not have the nice Santa beard shape to outline it with icing either.

I think these Christmas CakePops are the cutest and creative idea. The Food Decorator can really go to town with so many fun ideas. Of course my favourite one is the Christmas tree but they all do look VERY yummy. Sweet little things!

What can I say about this Snowman Cupcake other than adorable. How creative it this? I love the old fashioned button and tape around the base of the cupcake. Using the cinnamon sticks for arms is perfect. I can only imagine how sweet this would taste with the white snowman of icing sugar!

This time, I built this one from the outside -in. I easily followed the border, then around the inside for the 2nd row, then the 4 center pieces to complete it. That's the first time that happened. I do like the decorated details around the donut too.

This one I built from top to bottom. And it assembled in minutes. The colours are rich, especially the chocolate! I would definitely try these at a Christmas party! Yummy!

This Christmas Fruit Cake also looks quite delightful with a few cinnamon sticks on the side topped with cherries. As a child, I never really took to Christmas fruit cake but as an adult, I do enjoy a slice with tea.

I think this one was the simplest thus far or I am getting that good with them. It's really cute with the rich red strawberries which is an item we do not see often blended with Christmas. It it looks VERY yummy!

Well, compared to the other borders this was the toughest border yet. It was the ribbon that made it tricky. They look like cookies and regardless of what they actually are, they sure look like a lot of sweetness going on there.
Advent Calendar Puzzle Day 12 - Xmas
This one named itself as I tried to define a name for it. It appears maybe that's a decorated cookie?, but I am not sure about that and then there's the text-sign XMAS and candy cane on the 'cookie' with candy canes beside it....so we'll just leave it at that ;)

This one is so pretty with the Christmas sacks and candy canes. It's tricky to see but there are 5 of them. I bet a bigger image of this would make for a terrific 1000 piece puzzle don't you think? I would do it for sure!

The puzzle cut pattern still remains the same and the 'food' theme is still going on. The images of the food is perfect as this Christmas cakes looks quite yummy. I am completing them faster.

This time we are looking at real sweet suckers. I love the Christmas tree and mittens the best because they are different from the candy canes.
Advent Calendar Puzzle Day 8 - 3 Reindeer
Brand: Eurographics Advent Calendar Puzzle, Title: Reindeer (named by us), December Eight, Size: 5" x 5". Today we have 3 reindeer heads made of a chocolate, a cherry and pretzels on a straw stuck into a whipped-cream drink. Another creative idea for the season.

Again, third time we see the Gingerbread combined with candy canes and Christmas decor. The cut pattern is the same for the pieces and the image quality is perfect.

Today is a basic donut dressed with icing and Christmas candy canes and trees. I titled it Donut Delight. I do like the Christmas decor around the donut and wished a puzzle company would create a puzzle with just Christmas decor like that.
Advent Calendar Puzzle Day 5 - Gingerbread House
Yesterday was Gingerbread Men and today is Gingerbread House. Both are fitting for Christmas and look quite delightful. Maybe they should have put them both together into the same image. That would have been really cute.
Advent Calendar Puzzle Day 4 - Gingerbread Men
I titled this one the Gingerbread Men as I do not see any titles for them. I do remember eating these cookies from childhood but is sure has been a long time since I have had one. They are super cute and the hot drink behind them with the whip cream and candy cane sticks gives a warm, fuzzy look to the image.
Advent Calendar Puzzle Day 3 - Yuletide Log
Once again the puzzle is cut with the same pattern and the quality of the pieces are still fitting good. That said, I have never tasted a Yuletide Log even though it looks quite yummy!
Advent Calendar Puzzle Day 2 - Shaped Cookies
Today, on Day 2, I discovered the actual image of each puzzle is on the back of the 'drawer' box AND that the pieces are using the same grid cut so the puzzles can be put together on top of each other IF you choose to do so!
Advent Calendar Puzzle Day 1 - Stripped Candy
Turns out this is a little bowl of sweet striped candy cane candies. There were three details to assemble. The green background, the white bowl and of course the candy inside and outside the bowl. There is a small shine to the surface of the pieces but not a high shine. The pieces fit snug too.
