Christmas Tree Quilt Puzzle

The Christmas Tree Quilt jigsaw puzzle is quite a busy one with many mixed details. There's the quilt background that also serves as the border then there's the Christmas tree on top of that. Christmas trees tend to be tricky by themselves so adding them to the background does make the image appear busy. I think the  background quilt with the Christmas ornaments would be fun too.

Christmas Tree Quilt Puzzle Assembly

I did not do my usual sorting routine but simply laid out all the pieces onto the foam boards. They are quite colourful enough to pick out the red bows and flowers.

The Christmas Tree Quilt puzzle also comes with a very nice size poster. I tend to lightly tape the poster to the top outside of the box then put the box onto my puzzle stand with the empty plastic bag in the inside of the box - keeping it altogether!

The border was completed quickly enough by joining the colour patterns together first, lining them up into the position on the board then filling in  the open spaces.  From there, I started with patching up stars, flowers, ribbons and the large balls. I also built onto the edges the Christmas ornaments. Filling in the purple grid pattern background was quite simple.

Christmas Tree Quilt Puzzle Comments

The matte finish is always nice on these puzzles. As is the cut and quality of Cobble Hill jigsaw puzzles. This is another image created 'in-house' by Cobble Hill and they have several in the 'quilt pattern' variations.  I have have the pleasure of assembling a couple of the 'quilt pattern' puzzles. There's the Common Quilt Blocks puzzle Pieces: 1000 Size:  48.9 x 67.6cm or 19.25 x 26.625″ and then there is the Quilt Blocks jigsaw puzzle Pieces: 2000, Size:  26.625″ x 39.25. I also did the Quilted Kittens Puzzle, Pieces: 500, Size: 26.625" x 19.25". There are other quilted puzzles at Cobble Hill so you can take a look at their website. They are very popular among puzzlers so they may not be readily available.
