Smallest Jigsaw Puzzles Gallery

The World's Smallest Jigsaw Puzzles is now recored in the Guinness World Records on January 5, 2022 as being Selegiochi 99 pieces nano puzzles. 

It is stated on the Record as,  "The smallest jigsaws by piece size are those produced by Selegiochi (ITA). Their 99-piece nano-puzzles have shapes with an average surface area of just 0.361 sq cm (0.05 sq in). The finished size is 6.5 x 5.5 cm (2.5 x 2.1 in) – smaller than a playing card."

Now in my collection, I have had the following two mini, 99 pieces, M.C. Escher's since the early 1990's and they are still intact. However these two are very difficult to locate these days. I have heard these jigsaw puzzles to be named 'mini's or micro and or nano'. 

Both are made of wood. They were assembled with the assistance of tweezers. Wood puzzles need to be set from the above-angle and dropped down into the puzzles unlike cardboard pieces that may slide into from the side. That makes wooden puzzles just slightly different to assemble and mini wooden jigsaw puzzles even more trickier.

World's smallest jigsaw puzzles take up very little space to assemble which is great for convenience sake, however they are not very popular among puzzler - the deterrent  must be the handling of the pieces size and/or the limited choice of images.

The following two I have in my collection to complete.......both are cut with the same size of pieces and the same dimensions in total puzzle image size by 2 different companies.

They are known as World's Smallest Jigsaw Puzzles but I do not consider them to be 'Mini's or micros or nano' like the M.C. Escher's shared above.
