If you want a challenge then this one has got it covered. It took me a very long time to complete this one because I put it away a few times then picked back up on it - again and again.....finally I got tired of looking at it and forced myself to complete.

I did not really enjoy it....I like cats but not enough to do this one again. It's kinda crazy and required a lot of patience. It sure did feel like 4000 pieces as it states on the box.

The quality of these types of pieces were slightly different than the usual.

They were thick and waxy and a smaller size, not a usual basic size.

The fact they fit so well I could actually roll the puzzle up as shown to the left.

You can also see how the images are opposite of each other on the front to back sides.

The pieces being as small as they were made the puzzle a handy 15x15 inches to work room was not the issue (good thing).

There is an explanation on the back of the box of how they creatively produced the image to claim the 'World's Most Difficult" and while it may be for me the most difficult I worked but I have seen others complete these much faster than me.

This is what is stated on the back of the box:

"What makes it so difficult is most jigsaw puzzles have a picture on one side only. This puzzle has the same picture on both sides rotated 90° from each other.......

But that's only half the story. Ordinary Jigsaw Puzzles have both horizontal and vertical interlock cut from the same side so that it is immediately obvious which is the top.

This puzzle has its vertical interlocks cut from one side and it's horizontal interlocks cut from the other. One side is indistinguishable from the other!

Each piece must be compared on both sides for size, shape, colour and fit. Sounds confusing? Wait till you try it...."

I am not recommending this one to anyone unless they truly enjoy this type of challenge. It is not for the average puzzler and would likely be very discouraging to most. Good thing I only paid $1.00 for if at the Thrift store and luckily all the pieces were there.

Here are some more that are available...
